Saturday Rest
I got more than a little overwhelmed on Friday when the links, emails, mentions, tags and hits just flooded in. It was crazy. So Saturday, Love and I took a day completely off the interwebs. We took a drive over to Orlando, talked, walked around, window shopped, people watched, had a burger, watched some fireworks […]

I desperately need to drum up some sales. Things have been so slow for over a week now and I’m honestly panicking looking at the dwindling balance in my account. With surgery 16 days away (and counting!) and $600 still to go, PLUS trying to build a little bit of a safety net while I’m […]

Overdid It Yesterday
Headed up to Mom’s yesterday to help sort, organize and price all the various items for the garage sale next weekend. Several people donated a ton of items in a large range of categories, so there was a lot to go through. It started to rain almost immediately after we began so we were working […]

Now runs her own small business, PhoenixFire Designs, specalizing in handmade tree of life pendants, full moon tree of life necklaces, family birthstone jewelry, wire wrapped jewelry and more full-time.

October 2013 Update: Happy 2 Year Anniversary!! I'm amazed at how different life is two years later. Though the hardest thing I've ever been through in my life, I've grown so much as a result of having overcome such terrifying and daunting medical issues. In a weird way, I'm better for having experienced these hardships. I'm more sure of myself these days and more confident I can face life's challenges better.
I have tried to turn this medical challenge into an opportunity and using this as a means to push forward with my small jewelry business and as a way to support myself again.
Your continued support is appreciated right now and even links to my shop are appreciated. Thank you to everyone who's helped and spread the word. All of you helped make it possible for me to be here and healthy.:: calendar ::
