It was 20 minutes without contrast, then 6 more minutes with. They had chairs in the room so they had me lock up my purse and watch and I sat in the room with him. I read an old issue of People magazine that was in there. Couldn’t bring in my Nook or anything.

They gave us both earplugs but it didn’t really matter. It was CRAZY loud. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever heard anything so loud. I actually kept laughing because the volume, the changes in the noises and the intensity of it was so absurd, you just had to laugh. Have a bit of a headache from it but it was kinda crazy.

They will send the results to the doctor who will go over them with us. So hopefully, we’ll hear something soon. (Or, I guess, more accurately, we’ll here there was nothing odd about it.)

Love did good. The MRI wasn’t quite as tightly confined as he was afraid of. (It looked like this.) The head harness was creepy but the diazepam helped too. (He was all like, I’m fine, and I was like yeah ok honey – you just think you are. That stuff is deceptive!)

Next up, my appointment 8:45am Thursday for my bloodwork and EKG.

Love’s MRI went quicker than expected.
