I find myself lately having very cold feet. This in and of itself isn’t terribly weird; I’ve always had cold feet and hands. It’s not a circulation issue or anything, I apparently have excellent pulse in my feet, it’s just one of those things. For the months I was on Lupron (and thus in temporary, medical menopause) I was never cold – always just way too hot. After stopping it and having my surgery and such, I got back to my normal “I tend to be chilly” body temperature. (Which was quite a relief!)<\/p>\n
But lately, I’m fine when I go to bed but some nights I will wake up during the night with my feet being freezing. Problem is, I’m not waking up enough to do<\/i> anything about it, just enough to be annoyed by my cold feet. Eventually, after what feels like hours (but is probably much shorter of a time), I manage to get myself up enough to shuffle over to my sock bin and grab a pair, put them on and go back to sleep.<\/p>\n
So many nights I feel like it’s hours of cold foot frustration. And, because I’m mostly asleep, I don’t realize I can easily fix the problem which adds to the frustration.<\/p>\n
I know, I know, just put on socks before bed, right? Some nights I do just that. But it’s not super cold feet every night. And some nights, my socks annoy me if my feet aren’t<\/i> cold and then I find myself sticking my socked feet out from under the covers because they’re too warm! So I just can’t win. And so, some nights it’s just going to be a cold foot experience I guess.<\/p>\n
I do have to laugh though some mornings looking at the sock choices I make in the dark, half asleep. They tend to be, well, interesting<\/i>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
