I finally<\/i> had a chance to decorate my Christmas tree last night! I haven’t finished the village and monorail yet but at the very least, lights and ornaments are up! I took some pics last night of it and thought I’d share.<\/p>\n

The village isn’t even remotely done and the monorail isn’t up yet but the tree itself is finished.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I love this ornament because it was always my favorite to put on Nanny’s tree when I would help her decorate. Awhile back, she gave it to me so I always love having it on my own tree because it reminds me of being a kid. (Click for larger view.)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I shared this one on facebook<\/a>, but for those who aren’t there, I love this shot. I was taking pics of my Christmas lights on the balcony and Mika jumped up on the table right in my shot. So I took some of her. This is with my Nifty Fifty (50mm f\/1.8) lens. It continues to impress me with the sharpness and beautiful shots I get from it. I used it in the ornament close-ups too.<\/p>\n
