Last Sunday we drove out to Orlando to see the Festival of the Masters art show in Downtown Disney. 2010 was it’s 35th year and it’s a lovely event. It’s completely free and runs Friday-Sunday in November each year. There’s all sorts of amazing art, booths, sidewalk chalk artists and other events. This year, in celebration of the upcoming release of Epic Mickey<\/a> (the new Wii game), they had artists doing free sketches. I was able to get one of Mickey holding a paintbrush.<\/p>\n

Last year for my birthday, I purchased a sketch of Figment<\/a> and had it framed in purple and silver and I think I’m going to mat this one in red and frame it up as well. It’s just a fun little item. The artist who drew it for me, Celeste Cronrath<\/a>, apparently has made pins as well as apparently, a super awesome Tomorrowland mug that Love and I own<\/a>. Too cool!<\/p>\n
