11/19/01
Ugh…it’s Monday. And boy, does it feel like it! *lol* I don’t think I (or my Love) got to sleep until 1:30am-2am. And, the alarm goes off at 6:45am. Therein lies the tired. All-in-all though, had a really good weekend. Friday was the spur-of-the-moment trip to Downtown Disney, Saturday was my Love’s family Thanksgiving dinner (they will all be on a cruise this week – one we were actually supposed to go on, but then a few other things got in the way) and Sunday was a rather lazy day with a little shopping thrown in. I think, more then anything, the fact that my Love and I had FUN together, and spent good, quality time with one another was the real key.

Well, seeing as it’s almost 5pm now (jeez, it’s been on hell of a Monday and a half – grr) I don’t think there’s much time to get into the rest of the would-be entry. Joolo’s coming over tonight to show off his new Nintendo GameCube, and I’m hoping I can stay up long enough to at least see it. *lol*

It’s also “Angel” night on the WB, and tonight’s a big episode – Angel and Darla’s son is supposed to be born. Yes, yes, I am a silly one. I watch things like Buffy and Angel, but also The West Wing and ER. I never claimed to have a rhyme or reason to my preferences! :)

I’ve been dying to work on something creative lately, but in a hands-on, watercolor way. I think that I got a little teased by the idea that Joolo had to make a Tarot deck with his drawings and my watercolor. See, I can’t draw my own things for shit, but I’m not half bad at coloring things that already have been drawn. He doesn’t color well, but does great line art, so it seemed a perfect match. Then, he didn’t like the initial ideas he came up with and hasn’t found something else since. Sucks because I’ve been really itching to do something artsy. Maybe if I had a graphic tablet, I’d be less antsy because I’d be able to just manipulate things on the computer instead. Although, without having net access, my scanner being busted, and not having a digital camera, I don’t really have anything new to work with. That makes it even more sucky and frustrating. So, grr.

Well, I better get going. All I want out of life right now is to go home and take a nap and I’ll never get that done if I don’t start by closing this entry and leaving work to drive home in the first place! *lol*

ps: Still looks like it won’t be too much longer before I’ve got home internet access again. We’re just getting caught up on all our bills and starting to see more then change left over, so it’s actually within reach! The dark tunnel of being offline will finally come soon to an end!! (it’s only been seven months…)
