So we moved the living room around today....what a mess. Thing is, I have a couch. So does my Love. Mine has been in storage for the past year and a half. The plan was to put it in the second bedroom since that's our "den" so to speak. Yeah. No such luck. The hallways is icky narrow with the sharpest 90 degree turn just to get down the hallway into the room. The couch - being a huge thing of overstuffed goodness - didn't even come close to fitting. So, now we had two couches - that do not match each other - and one living room. Arg.

So, it works out ok like on paper and in theory how we arranged it, but I'm finding I hate it in reality and practical usage. You can't sit on either couch and look directly at the tv - it's at a kitty-corner angle. Now, my neck is permently f'ed up - several vertebrae are fused all wrong - so I can't sit in one position for any length of time (think like less then 15 minutes) before it starts hurting really bad. Before, the tv was directly across from the couch, so when I needed to, I would just switch ends of the couch. Worked great. Now it's not so simple. Everytime you look at the tv, you have to turn your head in one way or another to see it. This is really killing my head and it sucks because it's one of the only layouts that was acceptable.

Arg. Just sucks.
