Whew, this is gonna be one hell of a busy weekend for me! Speaking of which, I need to run to go back to packing...more later if I get a chance. (also, looks like I will be without my phone line until like Tuesday at the earliest or Thursday at the latest, which means no internet for me probably this whole weekend and through the beginning of the week (damn! that's a long time! *cries*) But I'll try to post some updates on everything as possible. But if ya don't see me for a week or so, that's why. (*grumbles at the phone company's slowness*)
Got back a little while ago from my interview this afternoon. I think it went well and the guy I met with (the Director of Operations) told me I was in the high tier of candidates (wee!). They're looking to start someone as soon as Tuesday - which would be fabulous - and he said he'll let me know either way tomorrow. *fingers crossed* The company itself is really up my alley I think (I hope I let that show enough, it's just so me) because they teach all sorts of MIS/IS classes and offer all kinds of certifications from the standard MCSE's to Macromedia, etc. The uber perk? I could go to any of their evening classes I wanted so long as there was an empty seat for free! Woah, that's a perk and a half. It'd be mornings M-F and he said they're pretty flexible so if I needed to get something done during the day, they'd work around it. They just need me there at 8am to get everyone settled for their classes.
I'm all nervous now because I really liked it and I really hope I get it. Oh, get this, another cool thing - the President of the company is a woman! That's just cool. You don't see that often enough in my experience and especially not in technical companies. Yeah for women pc geeks! *lol* Go us!
So, erm...I'm supposed to be packing...but I don't have any tape to tape the boxes together and my Love has the atm card and I have no cash. Arg. So far, nothing's been done and boy is the weekend creeping up closer then ever. Eep. Why do I see disaster written all over the moving? ;) Then again, moving is always a disaster and I've done it enough times, I should be used to it by now.
Anywho...just wanted to let everyone know that I think the interview went well and I'm excited about it and hopefully I'll have good news tomorrow. *fingers crossed* What a way to make my weekend, eh? New apartment and a new job? *hopes*
So yeah, we're moving this weekend - ack! - and I got my first chance to take a peek at the new apartment. It's empty and they hadn't cleaned it yet, but I snuck my digital camera in and took some shots so I could figure out what was going where and such.
Just a note that I won't have a lot of time online the next couple days since we need to pack everything (there is literally nothing done yet) and I have a job interview for a part time job tomorrow as well. Wish me luck.
Yeah, so yesterday's post is because of this fucking bitch using my copyrighted images AND impersonating me all at the same time. Violating not only Yahoo's terms of service, but multiple US laws and international treaties. I've complained to Yahoo and they replied with a list of six things I need to send to them to prove myself and certify my claim (I mean come on though they didn't even bother to take my COPYRIGHT NOTICE off the images!) but I assure you this will be taken care of even if it means I sue the bitch. (which I will if I have to) Take that you little shit, you stole the images right off my journal, so I hope you read this and know your ass is mine for stealing from me!
In other news...we have been waiting to hear what's going on from our apartment complex the last like month because our lease is up on Saturday and we told them we wanted into a different apartment. Not only do we need more room, but our floors are literally sinking (we're on the second floor) and our ceiling is splitting apart. This building is gonna collapse - and soon I think as things are getting really worse, really fast - and we don't want any part of it. Long story short is I'm still paying over $100 a month for my storage unit for the rest of my furniture that won't fit in here so we told them to put us on the list for a 2 bedroom/1 bath so we get more living space and put that $100 to a second bedroom (and much larger living room) instead of a stupid ass storage unit. Well, we're waiting and waiting and FINALLY today my Love calls them and bitches them out - they were expecting us to just pay month-to-month (an extra like $150/month) until they had a 2/1 opening. He was like no fucking way. So they work a deal. They'll give us a two bedroom TWO BATH (woo hoo!) for the cost a 2/1 went for LAST year. We're getting like $200 off a month on the cost and it's only a little more then $100 more a month - what we were wasting in the first place on the storage unit! Plus, my Love pays off his car next month and that saves us an extra $300/month too. Yeah! So, even though it seems like we're spending more, we're not - we're just getting a hell of a lot more...almost 2,000sq of apartment! Yeah! And, it has NEW carpeting! Weeee! Of course, this means I have to pack this week (eep we are so screwed) and we have to move everything to another building, but it will be well worth it.
There's some bad family health stuff going on too, but my Love has gone to bed and my typing is keeping him up I'm sure (damn noisey keyboard) so I'll save that for tomorrow. It's all unhappy and negative anyway and I want to enjoy the good feeling of our pending move instead for now. I need some cheerful things in my life.

First off EVERY SINGLE THING ON MY DOMAIN is copyrighted to me. I am the exclusive owner of everything contained within. It is protected by Federal US copyright laws and international treaties. Under NO circumstances do I, have I, or would I ever allow someone to use an image from my site as their own. If you ever come across an image of mine under any nick other then "MemoryandDream" or some form thereof, it's stolen. I have used the name "MemoryandDream" (memory_and_dream) for over four years. Additionally, every image of mine is branded with a copyright notice stating it's copyright to either drinkdeeplyanddream.com and/or giveneyestosee.com. Both domains are registered to me, and all items within are owned by me.
The reason I say this is it's been brought to my attention, someone took images straight out of my journal and has uploaded them to Yahoo! and is using them as her (his?) own, impersonating me and violating not only Yahoo's terms of service, but international law. This pisses me off in ways I can't even articulate. I have already contacted the user and Yahoo's Copyright Violation department and if this is not immediately rectified, I will be contacting my attorney. Do not kid yourself folks, this is stealing, it IS breaking the law, and you can be punished with anything from fines to probation to jail.
Just a reminder guys that if you see anything of me or mine somewhere, I appreciate being told about it as the person who emailed me to bring this to my attention. This is coming pretty hot on the heels of someone who impersonated me in real life in Fort Myers Florida. Neither instance is me and neither instance is legal. And both piss me off. You wouldn't like me when I'm pissed because I'll happily sue your ass for these violations.
