Ooh had fun! :) Got a couple cool things, found $22 on the ground (with which I bought a couple cool things), and had a good time. Rand, Karii, my Love and I went and it was just a nice day. Didn't get sunburned - yeah for sunscreen in large quantities - but damn are my feet sore. Came home, showered off (though it wasn't nearly as dusty and dirty as it normally is; it rained yesterday so it was a bit muddy, but more packed muddy then dust-flying-on-the-air-and-coating-you then it normally is so I didn't mind in the slightest). Soooo sleepy now though, I always get that way after being out in the sun all day.
Can't wait to go back. (Yes, we do attend more then once in a year since it only lasts six weeks and we wait for it all year long). This is the last season at this location so it's appropriately titled, "The Last Huzzah." Beautiful grounds, it's sickening to think the city's going to chop it all down to make a new buidling. Blech. The Faire has run from 1979 - 2003 though at that location, so it's not a bad run. 2004 will happen, but the owners of the fair are looking to buy land somewhere in the area that they won't have to deal with this contract bullshit (last year was going to be the last year when the city decided to end their contract a year premature, however, the Faire took them to court and won for breach of contract). We;ll see where it goes from here, but it's good to still have it for now. Fun place.
Mkay, I'm sleepy so I'm going to vedge out a bit in front of the tv and call it a night. :)
