Ran around a bit with my friend Rand today (he had the day off). Head was feeling better, but then the weather changed as rain blew in and it got bad again. Hit the bead store and got some things. The Renn Faire is starting this weekend (YIPPIE and HUZZAH!!) so we'll be hitting that probably next week. We'd like to go Sunday, but first off, it's going to be 80F and rainy and second, we just paid rent, so we're pretty broke.

Jef picked up Sonic Mega Collection for the GameCube (I NEVER thought I'd live to see the day Sonic - the Mario killer character - would appear on a Nintendo platform. That's what happens though I suppose when Sega stops making hardware!) and left it here and man, am I having fun. Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic Spinball and my favorite, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (a genesis classic!) and more are included. It's a perfect port and all the original codes - like the debug codes and such - are still in the GameCube version. It's just so much fun to get to play these classic games I loved from like ten years ago. Weee! The GameCube has certainly proven to be a HELL of a lot of fun and I'm so happy we have it.

Well, my Love wants to go watch a movie - think we'll finally see Road to Perdition that he picked up last week - so I'm going to close here.
