Another rainy day. Reminds me that it's still technically Spring. Though, my word, Summer Solstice is coming quickly! (Just two short days from now.) I can't believe it's the end of June already. Some days it seems life is stuck on fast-forward and I've lost the remote control.

I heard a bad joke today, thought I'd share. If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring? Pilgrims! *groans* (Told you it was bad)

Let's see... my mom was going to come over today to hang out, and I stayed up until 4:30am working on two necklaces for my sister. (This way, my mom could take them back with her and give them to my sis who lives up by her.) Turns out my mom wasn't feeling good and ended up getting her vertigo again. Probably because of the changes in the air pressure with all this rain (yesterday and again all day today). She had taken her anti-vert pill last night, but it leaves her really loopy and groggy and she can't drive. It was still bothering her today, so she wisely chose to stay home. She may end up coming by tomorrow instead. My sister apparently has off tomorrow as well so she may end up coming over with my mom. We'll see what happens. I know my sister is going to be annoyed with one of the necklaces I made for her. It ended up being longer then she requested, but I had already strung it twice and at that point, I didn't care and didn't feel like unstringing it again and altering it. If she doesn't like it, I'll sell it or something.

Speaking of selling necklaces, my mom was talking to me today about some local fair/show thingy they're having at the park by her two Saturdays from now. You can get a booth for $25 and she did so. She wants to try to sell the rest of her silver jewelry that we didn't sell on Ebay and she thought maybe I could sell some of my beaded stuff. So I need to work on some of that and see what happens. It's in the afternoon from 12pm-4pm, so I guess I'll go with her and maybe try to see if anyone wants something of mine. I've never really sold my stuff as of yet, so it's kinda scary to think of being out there, worrying if people like it and hoping I priced it alright (cheap enough for them to buy it, but not so cheap that I lose money). Oh well, I'm trying to be casual about it, but I'm kinda excited. I might actually sell something.

Think that's about it for now. Gonna go brave the rain to check my mail. Didn't got yesterday because of all the rain, but I just can't wait another day and besides, I have umbrellas and I don't melt. :) ttfn.
