Blogroll Me!
There are people on the net that have nothing better to do with their time
then be nasty to other people online. They post rude comments, spend hours
a day talking about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a
day talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for their
opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone to fit into
their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw a temper tantrum.
To these people I say grow up.
Here's a bit of info people...the web is
a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am, or what I
do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my hair, or
whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else. It's
really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in
the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and nasty
site has disappeared.
I pay for this site. It's mine. That
means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like it if I'm
bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go somewhere else.
Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too fucking bad, don't read
them. Somewhere along the line, someone forgot this simple fact: Live
and let live Don't like me, cool, fine, whatever, I don't care.
This journal is NOT for you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or
fame or anything stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and
express myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't,
it doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about it.
*gets off soapbox*

Witches Weekly - Times Two
Since I didn't get around to doing last weeks, I thought I'd toss them both here. So, it's two times the fun! :) Spirituality in Daily Life How do you incorporate your spirituality into your daily life? Hrm, I don't know. Little things remind me of my faith; the moon in the sky, or the wind blowing on my face. Some days I don't think about it much, while other days it seems close to the surface. Does your daily life hinder or support your beliefs or practices? A little bit of both. I don't have any access or ability to really go out and meet with other, local pagans so I don't really get to see or participate in that side of things. On the other hand, since I'm not on a 9-5 schedule, if I want to do something private ritual wise, then there's no interference. Sadly, I find myself unable to really take advantage of that time. What do you wish you could do more for your beliefs on a more regular basis? I'd really like to get better about observing the Sabbats and really celebrating the holidays. I don't because it's just me and it seems silly to go to effor when no one else is involved. Purpose What is the purpose of ritual? I think it's just a way to tangibly bring your belief into existance. Sometimes, you need the ceremony to make it "real" to you. Though, I've never done any real ritual and lately, I find that lack more noticable. What connection is there between the work we do between the worlds, and our mundane life? Of course. I think all things are connected. What role does creativity play in witchcraft? I think it's important to be able to think past the black and white. To be able to look for the unexpected and be open to possibility. If not, you miss out on so much in life. I think too many people not only wear blinders but are proud to deny the full spectrum of the world. WW
