Blogroll Me!
There are people on the net that have nothing better to do with their time
then be nasty to other people online. They post rude comments, spend hours
a day talking about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a
day talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for their
opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone to fit into
their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw a temper tantrum.
To these people I say grow up.
Here's a bit of info people...the web is
a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am, or what I
do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my hair, or
whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else. It's
really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in
the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and nasty
site has disappeared.
I pay for this site. It's mine. That
means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like it if I'm
bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go somewhere else.
Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too fucking bad, don't read
them. Somewhere along the line, someone forgot this simple fact: Live
and let live Don't like me, cool, fine, whatever, I don't care.
This journal is NOT for you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or
fame or anything stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and
express myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't,
it doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about it.

Heaven, Hell, Shopping and a Cold
So, yesterday of course was Love's birthday. My friend Rand came by on lunch, and we ran out to try to find him a birthday present. I ended up having to run him back, borrow his Jeep and drive down to the other Best Buy waaaay down on the other side of town to get what I was looking for. But man, it felt so nice to be out of the apartment, on my own, driving (something I never do anymore because either Love drives if it's he and I, or Rand drives if it's the three of us) and getting things done. Gods, it's a freedom I knew I needed to get again in my life, but actually doing it...it was so nice. The way things are, I never get things done on my own. Ever. I always need someone's help. So anyway, it turned out to be nice that the Best Buy near me was out because it gave me time on my own out of the apartment. After work, the three of us went to go see Constaintine which was actually pretty cool. It was kinda Prophesy meets Blade in style. In fact, I'd wager that someone on the special effects team for Constaintine was involved in Blade (#1) because there's a scene were these demons are exploding in just the same way that the vamps did in the one big battle with Blade in the club. It was a little slow to start in the beginning, but I think it was because of needing to introduce the characters and set the story. If there's a sequel, I'd imagine it would be a little more even paced because you wouldn't have such set up needed. Overall though, I really actually enjoyed it. I was worried it was going to be bad but hoping it was going to be good and it definately ended up being entertaining. I'd recommend it. By the time I got home though, the twinges that I had felt all day came to a big head. I really think I'm sick. Love got his presents, we had cake, Love started playing his birthday gift ESPN NHL 2K5 and I called it a night. Didn't sleep well last night because I couldn't breathe most of the night and my mouth kept drying completely out (to the point where I couldn't unstick my tongue from the roof of my mouth) from having to breathe out of it all night. Miserable. Today though, I have some errands I need to run - like I have to get some beading supplies (hooks, clasps, crimps, etc.) - so I have to try to get myself out-of-the-apartment ready and decent. Ugh. Wish me luck. All in all, Love had a nice day and I'm happy because he deserves it.
