There are people on the net that have nothing better to do with their time
then be nasty to other people online. They post rude comments, spend hours
a day talking about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a
day talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for their
opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone to fit into
their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw a temper tantrum.
To these people I say grow up.
Here's a bit of info people...the web is
a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am, or what I
do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my hair, or
whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else. It's
really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in
the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and nasty
site has disappeared.
I pay for this site. It's mine. That
means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like it if I'm
bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go somewhere else.
Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too fucking bad, don't read
them. Somewhere along the line, someone forgot this simple fact: Live
and let live Don't like me, cool, fine, whatever, I don't care.
This journal is NOT for you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or
fame or anything stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and
express myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't,
it doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about it.
*gets off soapbox*

So Far Behind!
There's so much I've been meaning to get around to posting. Tree pics, cookie pics, etc. but bah! I just haven't done it. So this is quick-and-dirty, light on the text and heavy on the picture summary post instead. All photo galleries can, as always, be found here. Ok, first off...the tree! Two Nice, Large Tree Photos here! It's so pretty and so damned hard to photograph! Second....ornaments! Just some nice shots of some of the ornaments I love my ornaments. Some of them are 50-60 years old. Others are more fun and still others are Disney! Third up...cookies! These are my favorites. My mom called them "tea biscuits" and they use this yummy pie filling you can't get here in Florida. This is one of the two batches of sugar cookies I made. Yum and more yum! I had so much fun decorating these with colored sugar. I made a ton on Monday with my mom and then more again last night. I'll take some with me this weekend to the respective family gatherings. Last night was Solstice and so I stayed up and held vigil until dawn. Man that's hard. (Especially when it came at 7:20am!) Needless to say I slept in today. Tomorrow we're using the last day of our passes and enjoying the magic of Disney at Christmas. We didn't get to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party like we did last year, but this will still be a lot of fun. It's just so perfect to see the lights, the fireworks and everything. Gets you in the holiday mood. Saturday we have to do ALL of our shopping. Nothing like the last minute, but what can you do? Payroll schedules don't always land where you want them to be. Sunday we have an early morning at Love's Aunt's house and then an afternoon at my mom's. Both are in completly opposite directions from each other (of course) so a lot of driving to do. So if I don't get around to posting for a few days, well...there you go. It's just hectic and busy this time of year. Happy Holidays to everyone and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
