There are people on the net that have nothing better to do with their time
then be nasty to other people online. They post rude comments, spend hours
a day talking about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a
day talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for their
opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone to fit into
their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw a temper tantrum.
To these people I say grow up.
Here's a bit of info people...the web is
a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am, or what I
do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my hair, or
whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else. It's
really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in
the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and nasty
site has disappeared.
I pay for this site. It's mine. That
means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like it if I'm
bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go somewhere else.
Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too fucking bad, don't read
them. Somewhere along the line, someone forgot this simple fact: Live
and let live Don't like me, cool, fine, whatever, I don't care.
This journal is NOT for you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or
fame or anything stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and
express myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't,
it doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about it.

And...We're Back
Ok, so two days, 452 emails in just one of my inboxes, a new (to me) cpu and motherboard plus a new (to me) sound card and video card and here I am. I say "new to me" because I get parts third. (Though free.) Generally, it's a friend first, then Love upgrades and I get Love's old stuff. I'm low man on the totem pole. (I'm runing an AMD Athlon XP 1800+ 1.53 GHz with 768 MB ram for example. Not exactly "new" to anyone but myself.) Anyway, my system got so unstable it wouldn't stay on, then it wouldn't turn on. My processor had burnt itself up and possibly the board too. The power supply fan was clogged with cat fur and I guess it was more then a wee bit dusty in the case. Not like it's my fault, jeez. I'm not a shedding cat. *chuckles* Had some oddness with Firefox crashing but I reinstalled it and *crosses fingers* it seems stable now. I've got a lot of catching up to do but looks like everything's back up. Yeah! I'm such a junkie for my pc, I swear. Hard to believe that it's only really the last 10-12 years or so that computers have been a common item for me and only about eight years that I've actually had one of my own on a daily basis. I interacted with them in small ways as a kid - Oregon Trail for example! - but it wasn't really until high school that I had any experience with the web (on a 2400 baud modem at a friend's house.) It's strange to think how much I use and love my computer when I didn't grow up with them in my life. The Gen Y'ers have never known life without computers, but us Gen X'ers, well...it's a different story. And yet, here I am, happy to be back after two days absence. How sad is that? Hope everyone had a nice weekend.
