There are people on the net that have nothing better to do with their time
then be nasty to other people online. They post rude comments, spend hours
a day talking about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a
day talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for their
opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone to fit into
their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw a temper tantrum.
To these people I say grow up.
Here's a bit of info people...the web is
a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am, or what I
do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my hair, or
whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else. It's
really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in
the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and nasty
site has disappeared.
I pay for this site. It's mine. That
means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like it if I'm
bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go somewhere else.
Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too fucking bad, don't read
them. Somewhere along the line, someone forgot this simple fact: Live
and let live Don't like me, cool, fine, whatever, I don't care.
This journal is NOT for you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or
fame or anything stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and
express myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't,
it doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about it.

Bright And Sunny Tuesday
Another day here at the temp job. Got in around 10:20am today. Was planning on doing the 10-5:30pm schedule we were originally going to use if I came on full time, but my stomach rebelled and pushed me a little late. I was so terribly naseous this morning. I mean just awful. (And no, I'm absolutely not pregant. Perish the thought!) Anyway, it was surpremely miserable. I was still very urpy when I came in but I figured I might as well try to push through. Jeez, I don't know what's going on. It's not normally so many days like this. Things are just abnormal - even for me. I just don't know what to expect. Normally, these things follow patterns, but not this time. Since Friday, it's been a rollercoaster of pain and unpredictable upset/symptoms. So, Ernesto is moving ever stedily onwards. It's still only forecasted for a tropical storm when it hits, but it's creeped a little more north-westward. (More towards my side/part of the state.) Looks like it'll make landfall in central south Florida now. We're under "tropical storm watch" at the moment. It'll be hitting in the early hours tomorrow. AT 200 PM EDT...1800Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM ERNESTO WAS The odd thing is that it's such a bright, sunny, warm day outside. No real breeze to speak of. Typical. It just looks totally normal. What it looks like out my window at lunch. ...compared to... Radar for the same time period. People back in the old days would never know something like this was bearing down on them. I mean, granted, we won't have much in the way of severe weather to speak of, but still. There's a massive storm only 135 miles off the coast of Florida. And yet, while rain will progress our way as some of the outter bands head across the entire state, it's a normal summer day outside. Just an odd disconnect, you know? So that's life for the moment in Florida. South Florida and the Keys are bracing, airports are closing, but most of life will go on without too terrible much disruption. I doubt any schools this far north of it's landfall will even close. Thankfully, this is another dodged bullet. Next National Hurricane Center update at 5pm EDT. What's new in your neck of the woods?
