There are people on the net that
have nothing better to do with their time then be nasty to other
people online. They post rude comments, spend hours a day talking
about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a day
talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for
their opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone
to fit into their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw
a temper tantrum.
To these people I say
grow up.
Here's a bit of info people...the
web is a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am,
or what I do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my
hair, or whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else.
It's really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in
the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and
nasty site has disappeared.
I pay for this site. It's mine.
That means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like
it if I'm bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go
somewhere else. Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too
fucking bad, don't read them. Somewhere along the line, someone
forgot this simple fact: Live and let live Don't like me,
cool, fine, whatever, I don't care. This journal is NOT for
you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or fame or anything
stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and express
myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't, it
doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about
it.
*gets off soapbox*

Samhain Blessings and Halloween Wishes It's Halloween! I'm a big fan of the fun of the day. I'm at the temp job training the new person. (Well, I have been; she's at lunch now hence the quick check-in.) We'll call her K2 since there's already a K. here. So far, she seems smart which is, I guess both a good thing and a bad thing. Good in that maybe they'll finally have someone who doesn't shove paperwork in a desk and myspace all day; bad because it means she might last and they won't need me anytime soon.
By the way, forgive me if the typing is bad. She changed out my natural keyboard for a standard one and I can't type on these things to save my life. At least Firefox 2.0 has a built-in spell checker which works really well and underlines things right as you type. VERY handy. I need to upgrade at home. I was typing something last night at home and I already missed the feature.
I decided to wear a pair of horns to the office. Everyone does a double-take and then smiles. They're all impressed when I tell them that I make them myself. It's just fun to wear a pair of horns in an otherwise normal outfit.
Going to head over to my friend Rand's house after work and hand out candy there. I want to wear my cloak but I have no idea what to wear under it. I'd like it to go with the theme, but I don't own any dresses or anything. I'll have to see what I want to do when I get home I guess. I've been thinking about it for a week now but nothing comes to mind.
Well, I guess that's it from the peanut gallery for the moment. I just wanted to do a quick post since I won't have a chance to this afternoon during training and won't be home this evening.
Oh, I had an adventure and a half last night trying to find a pumpkin to carve (oddly enough, no one has any left the night before Halloween. Who knew?) but I did manage to find one and I did a funny one of Vampire Mr. Burns. (From one of the Halloween episodes of The Simpsons.) They're having a carving contest here at work, so I brought it in. There's only one other pumpkin though so the odds are good I'll place in the top three.
Alright, this time for real. Have a spooktacular day!
