There are people on the net that have nothing better to do with their time
then be nasty to other people online. They post rude comments, spend hours
a day talking about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a
day talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for their
opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone to fit into
their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw a temper tantrum.
To these people I say grow up.
Here's a bit of info people...the web is
a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am, or what I
do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my hair, or
whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else. It's
really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in
the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and nasty
site has disappeared.
I pay for this site. It's mine. That
means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like it if I'm
bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go somewhere else.
Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too fucking bad, don't read
them. Somewhere along the line, someone forgot this simple fact: Live
and let live Don't like me, cool, fine, whatever, I don't care.
This journal is NOT for you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or
fame or anything stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and
express myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't,
it doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about it.
*gets off soapbox*

Ssh. I'm Sleeping
It's not wrong the day after painful dental work and when drugged up on "may cause drowsiness" pain meds to sleep all afternoon, is it? No? Good. Didn't think so. I'm going back to bed.

I Hate Dentists
Ugh. It was no fun today. I don't have the attention span or desire at the moment to get into the full non-funess of the day. Suffice to say trigger happy gag reflex + work on the furthest back tooth on the top = bad, bad day. I'm also a little fuzzy around the edges right now thanks to the darvocet he gave me. (Direct quote, "you'll be sore.") I felt fine until I actually started to try to type. Reading was working ok but oy...yeah. My fingers aren't working as well as they normally do right now. Heh. Alright. Long day. No fun. Dentists suck. At least all I have left for this tooth is the permanent crown on Feb 6th. Then three more fillings. Good news is that today was only $576. Significantly less then I'd been expecting. And the remaining three fillings are only $344. They also want me to do a deep cleaning at $54. I should have enough to finish all that out though. Then it's just a matter of paying the rest of the root canal off. ($380 left out of $929.) The discount plan I got helped and was well worth the $120 it cost. It's paid for itself and then some so that's good. I may just make it through all this yet. Oh yes. Fuzziness. I've tried to correct my typos as I go but if it's all screwed up, sorry. The world and I aren't exactly moving at the same speed right now. Hope all of you had a better Thursday then I did. TTFN

Dentist Tomorrow
Eep! Doubly sucks because though I know I'll be starting the first restorative/crown steps of the root canal tooth, I don't know what tomorrow actually will entail. Dear gods don't let it be 2 1/2 hours like two weeks ago. That was a hell I don't ever think I could do again. I hate the dentist.
M Recommends - WBWS.net Hosting
I know you guys all know about dreamhost.com (coupon code: MISSM25OFF to save $25) and what a good deal they offer, but you might not know about wbws.net. They are the ones who actually host this site, DDD, and EM. Because for all that I love the massive amount of space and bandwidth dreamhost.com offers, dreamhost doesn't have cpanel. And cpanel is one of those things I love and enjoy having because of the massive amount of control it gives you over ever aspect of your domain. It keeps me here, happy, with my service just as it is. I've been using wbws.net for about a year now. And I tell you, I can't say enough good things about them. Anytime I've had a question or a problem, they get back to me immediately. And when I went over my bandwidth once (due to googlebot using over 5 gigs of traffic in a month, not because I don't get enough transfer allotment) they gave me 2 extra gig for the remainder of the month for free. They're really down to earth and easy to communicate with. They even gladly made a custom plan for me for DDD. Their prices are very fair. Their entry plan is $4.99/month or only $48.96/year. With 200 megs and seven gigs of transfer, it's enough to handle most sites. This is the plan that giveneyestosee.com is running on as well as embracingmystery.org and we haven't had any problems. With up-time guarentees and a full refund within the first 30 days of your hosting if you don't like their service, there's no risk. Through the end of the month, they're running a referal program for current customers. I'll get credit on my account for you signing up. So if you were looking for a super reliable host that offers cpanel and fantastico (among many other perks), give wbws.net a try. If you do, please let me know so I can tell them I sent you. :)

Filler Post
I just haven't had a lot to say the last couple of days. Feeling kinda ick yesterday and today. Not sick, just off. Kinda achy without any real source or reason, you know? Uncomfortable. Not much has been going on either. Thursday is the beginning of the next stage of my dental work. I go back to my primary dentist to start the resconstructive and crown work on the root canaled tooth. Joy. Honestly I have no idea how much they'll be doing on Thursday or what, specifically, I'm in for that day. I've made a few new jewelry items but they photos aren't formatted yet nor are they added to PhoenixFire Designs yet, so I don't have them to show off right now. When I do, I'll make another update. So I thought I'd just put a filler post in just to kinda check in. And what says filler post better then a kitty photo? You can never have enough you know. Mika (brown tabby in the front) and Gracie (small grey in the back) sleeping on our bed. That's about it for now. I think I'm going to go lay down for a little while and see if I can't get past this blah and sore feeling.
