There are people on the net that have nothing better to do with their time
then be nasty to other people online. They post rude comments, spend hours
a day talking about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a
day talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for their
opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone to fit into
their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw a temper tantrum.
To these people I say grow up.
Here's a bit of info people...the web is
a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am, or what I
do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my hair, or
whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else. It's
really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in
the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and nasty
site has disappeared.
I pay for this site. It's mine. That
means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like it if I'm
bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go somewhere else.
Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too fucking bad, don't read
them. Somewhere along the line, someone forgot this simple fact: Live
and let live Don't like me, cool, fine, whatever, I don't care.
This journal is NOT for you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or
fame or anything stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and
express myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't,
it doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about it.
*gets off soapbox*

Another Day
So after half an allergy pill, some Imodium and some Excedrin , I made it in to the temp job yesterday. Went well enough. And the hours went by quickly too. J. asked if I could come in and help her again Friday afternoon, so I'll be back in there today. (And though I may be angry at my health most times when I'm posting about shifts there, I'm actually thrilled when they call me. I like it there. I like the people too. I just get mad that my body is so unpredictable and unreliable that it's so hard for me to count on being able to cover for them when they ask.) Anyway, that's my day's plans. I'm off to go shower and get ready so I guess I'll catch up with everyone later. TTFN!

Bad Timing As Usual
So the temp job called me this morning asking if I could come in today to help them out a bit. Short notice but I said I could come in this afternoon. Two problems have since developed: my stomach is in revolt and I've been in the bathroom all morning and my head has decided today is a good time for a migraine. Fucking hell. Why does my body always do this crap to me at the worst possible times? Bah. Rand's on his way to get me. Let's hope I can make it through the afternoon.

Generally achey. Blarg. Do not pass Go. Do no collect $200. Tomorrow I'm supposed to be hanging out with my mom. Hope I feel better by then.

Weekend Report
The news to report is that there's nothing to report from this weekend. Ha. It's been quite chilly here in the Sunshine state this weekend. We're normally pushing 80F (26.6) this time of year. Yesterday's high was only 66F (18.8C) - and overnight, we got down to 48F! (8.8C) Jeez. That's cold for us for Winter, but for March? Downright frigid. Of course, it's already ending. Another cold night tonight but tomorrow is forecasted to be 81F (27.2C) So much for that! Despite the chill, the pollen counts aren't going anywhere. Yesterday was another awful day. I took some claritin in the morning but by that night - oy. My poor nose was all chapped and wouldn't stop running. Took some Benedryl since the Claritin wires me and keeps me from sleeping but it didn't do much more then make me sleepy. Saturday we went shopping for new plates. Yes, again. The ones we bought, while we loved them, were already starting to have chips on the edges in the glazing, revealing the unfinished stoneware underneath. If it was doing that after only 2 weeks, the longevity of the set was questionable. We found these: Sango Gold Green Dust on sale at JCPenny (cheaper then amazon's price) after hitting several stores without luck. They were a smidge more per set then the other ones but still not a bad deal. Now we need to pack up the old ones and return them. Shame. They were pretty. But these are quite nice too. The color is actually more blue-green then just green. My two movie ticket wins from Blingo showed up, so we're thinking of using them to check out V for Vendetta probably next weekend. There's a 21+ only theater that we thought we'd use them at. No kids. And big, comfy leather seats. Beyond that...didn't do anything much this weekend. Some minor errands Saturday and the plate hunt; lazing around and enduring super hell-mart to pick up some household things (dishwashing liquid, dryer sheets, etc.) on Sunday. So with that thrilling bit of pointless, aimless entry-writing, I think I'll call this one done.
