There are people on the net that
have nothing better to do with their time then be nasty to other
people online. They post rude comments, spend hours a day talking
about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a day
talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for
their opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone
to fit into their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw
a temper tantrum.
To these people I say
grow up.
Here's a bit of info people...the
web is a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am,
or what I do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my
hair, or whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else.
It's really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in
the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and
nasty site has disappeared.
I pay for this site. It's mine.
That means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like
it if I'm bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go
somewhere else. Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too
fucking bad, don't read them. Somewhere along the line, someone
forgot this simple fact: Live and let live Don't like me,
cool, fine, whatever, I don't care. This journal is NOT for
you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or fame or anything
stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and express
myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't, it
doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about
it.

Brrr! I know this isn't anywhere near cold to many of you, but let me tell you, for those of us in the Sunshine State where it's been in the low 80's even through into December, this is damn cold for us.
Sleepy My nose wouldn't stop. Sneezing, running - just miserable. Took a claritin but it wasn't helping. So I gave in and went for some benedryl. Now I'm so drowsy that as I sit here, trying to read and type, my eyes are closing of their own accord. There's a reason that this stuff is the active sleep ingredient of Tylenol PM et al.
Holiday Card - Reminder! If you want to get a holiday card from me, please leave your address HERE. It's private so no one else can see your address. You don't even need a livejournal account to post your addy there. (Do me a favor though and leave a screen name I might know you by to help me organize it if you don't have a login.) Even if you gave me your addy last year, please leave it again this year.
I got cards and I'm working through those who signed up so far, but there's still time to get in on the fun. :)
By the way, if you wanted to send a card in return, I'd be thrilled. Honestly, no pressure though. Cards are going in lieu to packages this year since budget just isn't there to be as extravagant as I want to be. So I understand and don't require a card in return to send one your way.

2-Minute Update Weekend - whoosh! There it went. My friend Rand came back from his week in Hawaii (business trip) bringing back goodies for Love and I on Sunday.
Weather - Finally getting another cool front. It's been around 85F or so most days. Tonight's overnight low is supposed to be low 40's. I welcome the break in stupid heat.
