Everything is fine. Which is good but…it leaves us still having no clue what’s causing his miserable, debilitating vertigo. The ENT gave him a round of antivirals and heavy dose 1-week pack of prednisone to see if it helps. Kind of a stab in the dark but antibiotics and decongestants haven’t helped and as far as anyone can tell, there’s nothing wrong with his inner ear or brain. He still needs to reschedule the balance test (was sick with a head cold last time so couldn’t do it) but that’s just another stab in the dark.

I feel so bad because he’s so hopeless and frustrated over this. He just wants to be normal again and I wish there was something I could do to help. Or that anyone could do. Just sucks because it’s like every single day. He feels like he has no life anymore.

Surgery Date
Still no word. Still waiting on the scheduling nurse to call me. Sucks. I know it’s probably still about 4 weeks off but man, I’d like to know when it’s going to be already! I’m getting so anxious and I feel like I can’t plan anything because who knows when I will be out of commission?

Blood in Urine
Sorry, it’s a bit TMI but at the physical last Thursday, that was a concern. Being on the Lupron, that’s one of the “notify your doctor immediately” things. I talked to my OB/GYN’s nurse and she said it could be a UTI or a kidney stone. She wanted the primary to fax over culture test results, but…turns out the primary didn’t DO any cultures. Great. So I just kinda waited to see if anything came of it this weekend but I seem to be symptom free so I’m just going to call it a fluke for now and keep an eye out for any future problems. Not much else I can do.

Bloodwork
I go in on the 9th for my bloodwork results. I’ll know how things stand then. I had them add a ferritin count to the CBC since that’s stored iron and I’m supposed to be getting that checked yearly due to my anemia problems. I can’t even recall the last time it was checked. Probably sometime not long after getting the iron IV’s. Anyway, I’ll update next week with bloodwork results when I have them.

PCIP
Sent off the check for September’s $237 premium last week. It cleared my account today. So that’s another month of insurance! Only 2-3 months more to go (at least.) It’s nice to be able to pay it though without worry thanks to the fundraising efforts, that’s for sure.

Life
Beyond that, nothing much going on. Just kinda same-old, same-old. Had Nanny’s 95th birthday party last Saturday. Been working on jewelry and orders and new items for the the shop. It’s been very hot (very) lately but also we’ve had some crazy thunderstorms.

Just…one day into another. Mainly, we’ve been dealing with Love’s vertigo and my waiting around for surgery.

So that’s it for now. I’m sure there was more I meant to write but I don’t recall now so I’ll just close it up here.

Just some general updates of what’s been going on lately… Love’s MRI Results came back.
