I had my last OB\/GYN appointment <a href=\"http:\/\/giveneyestosee.com\/blog\/2011\/08\/post-appointment-update-3\/\">August 16th<\/a> and we left it as, &#8220;the scheduling nurse will call you for your surgery date!&#8221; and I left without any future appointments because any future appointments would be surgery date related.<\/p>\n<p>Well, that was like three weeks ago. And EVERYONE keeps asking me if I have my date yet. (Seriously people, I WILL tell you when I get it. I promise!) And my sister suggested I call at this point because maybe it fell through the cracks to get me on the schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Today I called around noon and left a message for the doctor&#8217;s nurse. And haven&#8217;t heard back. So more waiting.<\/p>\n<p>I just want the date so I can stop hemming and hawing about what I can and cannot do in the coming weeks. I mean, I&#8217;m <I>terrified<\/i> of the actual surgery itself (I was actually shaking when I dialed the phone to call the nurse!) but I just want to <I>know<\/i> already.<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230;still waiting.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow I go to the primary doc for my bloodwork results from my physical. I&#8217;ll update with that tomorrow. And <I>whenever<\/i> I hear about surgery, I&#8217;ll update too.
