The TV is on in the living room and I hear a commercial so absurd, I actually got up to see if it was a joke or not.<\/p>\n<p>Called, &#8220;The Better Marriage Blanket&#8221; the product apparently has the same &#8220;activated charcoal&#8221; used by the US Army during warfare to prevent chemical and gaseous exposure. Only this time, it&#8217;s being used to absorb pesky &#8220;flatulence molecules.&#8221; (i.e. the dreaded &#8220;silent but deadly!&#8221;) <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/phoenixfiredesigns.com\/stuff\/emoticons\/eye-popping.gif\"> Don&#8217;t believe me? Watch the commercial on YouTube <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bM4eJ38S7Hw\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing says, &#8220;I love you&#8221; like a blanket to absorb fart smell. <I>&#8220;Happy anniversary, my love! By the way, you fart in your sleep!&#8221;<\/i> (There&#8217;s a card I bet Hallmark doesn&#8217;t make!)<\/p>\n<p>Everybody&#8217;s talking about it &#8211; all the way to <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.webmd.com\/all-ears\/2010\/05\/the-marriage-saver-blanket-a-solution-to-the-toots.html\" target=\"_blank\">WebMD<\/a> for crying out loud! Don&#8217;t know if all the word-of-mouth marketing will translate into actual sales for them but I&#8217;m sure many other people are at least going to be aware of the product &#8211; like myself &#8211; when they hear the almost too crazy to be true commercial.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am sitting on my computer in the master bedroom which is right off the living room.
