Nothing terribly exciting to report the last week or so. Being broke puts a damper on interesting plans, so we mainly sat around the house over the weekend. <\/p>\n
Monday of course, saw me back to work. I did the 9am-3pm shift that day because Love was supposed to see his new doctor at 3:30pm but, we found out there is a new patient fee of $21 and, well, we were too broke to spend the extra twenty bucks this week and rescheduled.<\/p>\n
Overnight into Tuesday and then the morning, my stomach was a nightmare of pain and things that shall not be mentioned. All I wanted to do was curl up and go back to bed but I made it into work anyway only an hour late. Should have stayed home because then maybe I wouldn’t have bashed my knee.<\/p>\n
See, I share my cube with the second shift lady. And she uses this under-the-desk contraption that swivels out for your keyboard. I don’t use it because I think it puts it in a bad angle. Anyway, it’s got this razor sharp<\/i> metal plate with a killer corner on it. And I’ve been hitting my knee on it all day Monday but Tuesday, I bashed<\/i> my right knee straight into the violent, sharp, evil metal corner. It not only cut me as a deep puncture, but it did something wrong to my knee now because I can barely use it. My kneecap is making crunchy noises when I move it and I can stand but can’t climb stairs, or use that leg to push myself up from sitting. It’s so miserable.<\/p>\n
Weather’s been stormy yesterday and today and with the pressure changes and added in to girly issues, my head’s been right on the migraine edge the last two days.<\/p>\n
Mom came by for a little while today. We were originally going to go to the mall but with my knee and head, I just wasn’t feeling up to it. After she left, I took a short nap because by that time, the thunderstorm was well underway and the power was flickering on-and-off constantly. Can’t watch TV or anything when the cable box is constantly rebooting, so might as well doze! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Beyond that, we’re going off-grid for a day; our cell phone bill is due today but we won’t be able to pay it until Friday. Boo. First time in over a year and a half that we’ve couldn’t pay it by the due date. There’s no grace period with MetroPCS so no phone tomorrow. It’s just a day though so while it’ll suck – can’t text and get texts from Love tomorrow – we should be able to get it back on Friday morning since we both have direct deposit.<\/p>\n
Saturday we have to take Love’s car in for repair. I’ve been driving it the last two weeks and boy it’s getting bad. It’ll be nice to get my own car back and I know he’s missing his too. No idea what it’s going to be, but it HAS to be fixed so whatever it is, it’ll have to be done.<\/p>\n
