I wound up cleaning it all myself yesterday. Literally on my hands and knees scrubbing every inch of the floor. Used an entire roll of paper towels soaking it up (because I did NOT want to use my kitchen towels given how utterly nasty it smelled.) I cleaned the floor four times – once with soap to get the stickiness up; the second with windex; the third and fourth with my mop. In some places, it’s still tacky. I swear, this is never ending.<\/p>\n

Oh and speaking of never-ending, the wall inside the pantry is just disgusting. Forgive the bad cell phone pic but this is what it looks like now:

And if you think I scrubbed at the floor<\/i> a lot, I’ve been at the wall probably 6 or 7 times. I’ve saturated it with cleaners trying to get the stains and such out. And it STILL looks that bad! I don’t know what to do any more. The lighter patch is where the paint came off from the acidity of the pineapple juice.<\/p>\n

Holy crap, do NOT let a can of pineapple juice explode in your pantry. Honestly, it’s been a nightmare. I had to spray some air freshener in the pantry because I couldn’t get that metallic, rancid pineapple smell to completely go away – despite all the cleaning products and elbow grease I threw at it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
