We made a really good run at it. And it’s only through your support that I’ve been able to keep it going as long as I have. But I finally have to accept defeat and acknowledge I simply can’t pay my health insurance for August.<\/p>\n
For months, I’ve struggled to keep it going. It’s been touch-and-go there for awhile. I’m close to getting some bills paid off but just not close enough. It just won’t happen soon enough to count.<\/p>\n
Too many expenses are due right now. Our power bill of $166 needs to be paid (it’s been a record-breaking hot summer), we had the car window failure Friday ($60), multiple visits to the neurologist for Love ($25 copays add up) plus Rx changes for him and all told, it just ate up any money I could put towards the August premium.<\/p>\n
I’ve just been running behind for months now, barely making the month’s premium by month’s end – only to then be faced with needing the following month’s premium already. I’m basically a payment behind and coming up with $237 is impossible enough, let alone double that to get caught up.<\/p>\n
I’ve had a year of health insurance which is more than I can say for many. I’m 10 1\/2 months post-op and while I won’t be able to get into the gyno for my annual, I feel good these days and everything should be ok.<\/p>\n
