Both Love and I have been sick since Sunday. The weird thing is that I don&#8217;t know what &#8220;it&#8221; actually is. It&#8217;s not a normal cold but has some symptoms of a cold; isn&#8217;t a normal stomach bug but has symptoms of one, etc. Love and I have had <I>similar<\/i>, though not identical symptoms and we both got sick at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>Me?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> stuffy nose\/sneezing &#8211; though not as bad as the constant running I normally get in a cold.\n<li> low-grade fever across several days\n<li> hot flashes\/chills, overall irregular temperature\n<li> body aches, fatigue, exhaustion\n<li> headache and severe tension in neck\n<li> serious stomach upset including vomiting and, well, other things\n<li> scratchy throat, but no sore throat, only minor coughing.<\/ul>\n<p>Love?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> stuffy nose\/sneezing &#8211; he&#8217;s got this worse than me\n<li> head congestion\n<li> lower back seriously hurting (not sure if it&#8217;s connected but it only started when the &#8220;cold&#8221; did)\n<li> low-grade fever across several days\n<li> hot flashes\/chills, overall irregular temperature\n<li> body aches, fatigue, exhaustion<br \/>\n<LI> some stomach upset, but no vomiting and less severe than mine<\/p>\n<li> coughing<\/uL>\n<p>So it&#8217;s just&#8230;weird. It&#8217;s a-typical for a cold, has more stomach upset then a flu, and yet we&#8217;re on day four now and both of us are still really unwell. I feel a little better then I did yesterday but ugh, Tuesday was worse than Monday so that&#8217;s not saying much.<\/p>\n<p>I just don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s going on. And I&#8217;m stressed that I had to call into work. I don&#8217;t want to lose my job because I&#8217;ve been sick, you know? Just frustrating because it&#8217;s been such a weird range of symptoms, it&#8217;s been hard to do much but take some Tylenol for the fever and body aches and just try to sleep. (I&#8217;ve been sleeping HUGE hours the last few days.) Have barely been able to eat or keep what I do eat down too which is tough.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow no matter what I&#8217;ve got to get back to work but still&#8230;ugh.
