Last night I was on my pc and all of a sudden, my monitor started spazzing. It was “twitching” really horribly for lack of a better word. We reset the refresh rate and it seemed to get better.<\/p>\n
About an hour later, it started again but we couldn’t get it to stop this time. It’s so bad that I literally can’t even look at the screen when it’s like this. Added to that, we had this slight burning smell. I’d noticed it once before a couple weeks ago but couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. It went away and I hadn’t smelled it again since.<\/p>\n
Now we’re pretty sure the monitor is burning itself out and it’s shot. Wonderful. It’s not bad enough that my PC is literally like 10 years old and less powerful then a netbook, but now I don’t even have a screen. I haven’t been able to check my email since yesterday. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n
I’ve needed a new pc for awhile now (obviously) but it hasn’t been in the budget. A monitor certainly isn’t either.<\/p>\n
