Well, I got back ten minutes or so from dropping the Little Cat off at the vet. She’s getting her x-rays today. I should be able to pick her back up this afternoon. They said that depending on what the x-rays show, they might not need to do the sonogram as well. So we’ll see. She’s actually been a lot better the past couple days with the peeing situation; not going in anywhere near as much and when she does go in, she’s in and out really quick. Before, she’d sit there in the litter box for 10-15 minutes straight just straining to go. Granted, she’s been high on Xanax since Christmas Eve but still. Maybe the problem is already fixing itself and she just needed something to help her relax and stop panicking about it?<\/p>\n
I’m still nervous of course. And I’m worried what the results are going to show. Hopefully nothing serious. <\/p>\n
Oh and both kitties are sneezing. Last time Gracie was at the vet’s I think she picked up a kitty cold. (Upper respiratory infection) They’re stupidly easy to catch and so Gracie was sneezing a little and now Mika is too. Gracie still has antibiotics in her system from last week so she’s not as bad. I steamed Mika last night by bringing her in the bathroom with me when I showered and leaving the door closed and the fan off. Seemed to help a little.<\/p>\n
It’s been freezing here so my car was absolutely frigid trying to get Gracie to the vet. Holy crap it was so cold you could see your breath inside my car!<\/i> Brr! Poor Gracie didn’t like being cold AND being in the carrier, that’s for sure!<\/p>\n
