It’s a miserable day outside today. I made it into work in a lull in the storm but the whole area is under Tornado watches, high wind advisories and severe weather alerts.<\/p>\n

Here’s what the radar looks like to give you an idea:

All flights at Tampa International Airport are on hold right now because of the weather (like tornadoes in the area!) and it’s just all-around nasty outside. It’s actually been a very hectic week<\/em> weather-wise around here. We’ve had severe storms for several days now. I know some places in the country have been getting snow but here, it turns into thunderstorms.<\/p>\n

It’s so dark out, even here at work with all the lights on, it’s very dim in the building. Had to navigate some flooding too just to get in. My power was still on (thankfully; other areas around here have outages) but it was flickering all morning. It’s just one of those really icky, nasty days where you should stay home if at all possible!<\/p>\n

We’ll see how it goes by the time I’m ready to head home. Hopefully, I can find another break in the weather because it’s just not fun driving in conditions like this. (Even if you only have to drive a few miles!) I really<\/em> hope Love gets home safe. His drive is about 40 minutes and involves crossing a bridge which can be windy in the best of times.<\/p>\n

Anyway, it’s nasty outside and the weather is just miserable here! No sunshine in the Sunshine State today, that’s for sure!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
