Yesterday it was tornadoes, overturned planes, knocked over semi trucks, downed trees, heavy winds and rain with flooding&#8230;and today there&#8217;s literally not a cloud in the sky.<\/p>\n<p>Today it&#8217;s endless blue out there:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/giveneyestosee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/sunnyview040111.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/giveneyestosee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/sunnyview040111.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"sunnyview040111\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-863\" srcset=\"https:\/\/giveneyestosee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/sunnyview040111.jpg 480w, https:\/\/giveneyestosee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/sunnyview040111-112x150.jpg 112w, https:\/\/giveneyestosee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/sunnyview040111-375x500.jpg 375w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>(Compare that to <a href=\"http:\/\/giveneyestosee.com\/blog\/2011\/03\/downpour\/\">yesterday<\/a> when you couldn&#8217;t even <I>see<\/i> out the window!) <\/p>\n<p>Also note, the &#8220;lake&#8221; that&#8217;s formed across the street is a result of yesterday&#8217;s rainfall. There&#8217;s normally NO water over there at all!<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday&#8217;s storm was intense. (You can see photos of damage from around the area <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.tbo.com\/photoalbum\/2011\/mar\/31\/severe-storms-march-31\/\">here<\/a>.) Thankfully, no problems personally to report. Our apartment and both my family and Love&#8217;s family came through unscathed.<\/p>\n<p>But it&#8217;s still surreal to see a literally unbroken sky of blue today, so soon after the craziness that was the weather a very short 24 hours ago!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a different a day can make!
