{"id":932,"date":"2011-04-24T11:01:14","date_gmt":"2011-04-24T15:01:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/giveneyestosee.com\/blog\/?p=932"},"modified":"2011-04-24T11:01:14","modified_gmt":"2011-04-24T15:01:14","slug":"birthday-countdown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/giveneyestosee.com\/blog\/2011\/04\/birthday-countdown\/","title":{"rendered":"Birthday Countdown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have a little countdown widget on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.giveneyestosee.com\/blog\">the domain blog<\/a> but I forgot that it won&#8217;t show up to those who read me on <a href=\"http:\/\/memoryanddream.livejournal.com\">livejournal<\/a>, so I&#8217;m making a post about it since they crosspost automatically.<\/p>\n<p>Last year&#8217;s birthday was really sad and quite a downer. I was just getting over the sudden and unexpected death of my best friend just two months prior and I was dealing with severe anxiety attacks, nightmares and depression. The grief was really bad. My whole birthday felt like a sham and I just couldn&#8217;t enjoy anything positive because I was just hurting so bad emotionally.<\/p>\n<p>This year, I&#8217;d really like to try and get back to the more fun, lighthearted silly kinda birthday so I&#8217;m opting to resurrect the goofy birthday countdown. (Hence the countdown widget on the blog.) Hopefully everyone can help me make this a GOOD birthday again and help me enjoy it.
