Today is Mika’s birthday. Well, in reality I have no idea what actual day she was born but this is the anniversary of the day we adopted her so it’s close enough for me! Our tabby girl came home with us 8 years ago today and she was about three at the time so today is approximately her 11th birthday.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Two weeks ago, she had to have three teeth extracted including one of her top canine “fang” teeth so we’re affectionately calling her “Mika One Fang” now. Today she had her follow-up vet visit and she’s doing good. The vet recommended another week of antibiotics because the redness and swelling have gone down but not completely.<\/p>\n

The other day, I sprinkled catnip all over her kitty condo because she LOVES catnip and gets very excited and, well, “high” from it. It’s fun watching her roll around go nuts so I decided to pull out the camera and take a movie clip of it.<\/p>\n
