Tuesday is kinda just like another Monday. It's like Monday cloned itself and is making inroads to claiming more of the week. Or, well, maybe that's just me. I've never been much for the beginning of the week no matter what you call it.
I'm also just tired today. I'm finally at the part where I'm starting to feel a little better but I'm really exhausted. All the time being sick has left me pretty depleted energy-wise and I just need some downtime now not to fight off infection, but just to rest. Yeah I slept a ton last week but it wasn't restful sleep, it was the oh crap, we need to fight off the plague type unconsciousness specific to being sick.
Made it in to work again on time today so hooray for me. My boss is coming in late this morning so I haven't seen him yet today. I'm drinking my caffeinated tea right now in an effort to get myself going for the day. But it's kinda slow start. Hence the slight stall tactic in writing up a quick entry. I just needed to give my mind a few minutes to settle in to the idea of thinking before I try to work. Heh.
Totally off-topic to anything, I had one positive thing from last week I didn't get a chance to mention before now: Netflix on Wii. Ok, seriously, it's surprisingly awesome. I got an email inviting us back with a free month of Netflix (we had an account like two years ago) so I signed up. And since we inherited Rand's Wii, we also have that as a streaming option and were able to request a free Netflix Wii disk. It totally works amazingly well too!
You can go online, add items and shows to your virtual queue. Then you turn on the Wii and BAM! they are all waiting for you right there. We thought we'd have to run a wired connection out to the living room for the internet but no! The wireless connection is more than good enough to stream without any problems. We're behind a season in Rescue me and in 30 seconds, it started right up. No hiccups, no loss of picture, nothing. It just worked. Honestly, it's brilliant. It remembers where you left off and if you want to finish watching it on your PC you can do that too. It's a decent selection of movies and an awesome selection of TV shows. For $9/month after our free month trial, we get one in-mail DVD at a time (and as many unlimited as we want for the month) and unlimited PC/TV streaming. I'm really impressed and would highly recommend it.
Anyway, I guess I should get back to the whole "working" thing. (Even if I don't wanna.) Little over 5 hours to go today and then off tomorrow. Thank goodness. Ta for now.

I hope you manage to get some decent rest.
I always hate the beginning of the week, because it means 5 days of work before the weekend. This weekend I’m going to be pretty busy with family stuff and had thought about taking a day off on Monday, but we’ll have work-men here fixing some drainage issues so not much point taking a day off to rest!
