Aww, where’d he come from? We just don’t get creatures like that around here!
Behind my work is a large pond/swampy area. And across the street is a big marshy field. I don’t know which way he was heading but it was the first time I saw a turtle around there. We have a resident gator in the pond that I see sometimes but I don’t know why the turtle was out all the way on the sidewalk! 🙂 There’s a lot of turtles in general in this area overall. I’ve stopped the car and ran out into traffic to help one cross the road quite a few times.
