I splurged last night and spent a whopping $5.99 with free shipping for a USB powered fan. 
I’m hot a lot these days because of the Lupron. This is an unfamiliar condition for me as I’m normally always cold. But the master bedroom (where the computer is located at) is the hottest room in the apartment. And though we have a ceiling fan in here, it doesn’t really help when I get a hot flash. (Because my face itself gets really hot and needs direct wind to cool it down.) So I bought this to plug into the side of the monitor and blow a little air in my face. Plus, if I’m on the couch on the borrowed laptop, I can use it there too.
You can get it for $9.99 with super saver shipping at amazon as well, but I found one new on ebay for $5.99 so that’s what I went with. I don’t really have room (or wall outlets) for a standing fan next to my computer so this seemed like a good little option. If it doesn’t work, well, I’m only out six bucks. If it does work though, it’s a good deal. I’m eager for it to arrive though so when it does, I’ll let you know how it works.
