I went down to Love’s work and met up with him to drive the rest of the way down to the hospital. Love’s Dad is still critical but there is some improvement. His kidneys are improving their function and he’s producing more urine. His blood pressure is stabilizing (it was too low) and they’re weening him off the first of two medicatioans and want to get him off both. Visiting hours for the CCU ended at 6pm for shift change, so we all just headed home at that point.
I guess the doctor wants to basically wait and see how he does tonight and we’ll know more tomorrow.
Meanwhile, while I was in the waiting room, I got a call from my OB/GYN office. The nurse was letting me know they got the results of the uterus biopsy. Everything is benign. They really didn’t think there was risk that my tumors were cancerous but it’s still good to know for sure.
So it’s just waiting for now. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and well-wishes for Love’s dad. Please keep it coming. He’s not out of the woods yet.
