Tropical Storm Isaac’s projected path has been steadily moving westward over the past two days. This isn’t to say it’s a safe for Florida to relax – far from it. These things change on a dime and you never know where it will end up until it’s there. But, it’s tentatively good news.
Spaghetti models are still showing the possibility of movement towards Florida (and, in turn, me!)
No matter what, we’re in for a windy, rainy few days here. Even when the storm doesn’t land directly on you, the bands extend for miles and miles and you get heavy thunderstorms as a result. And, since we’re still in the “cone of possibility” we’re still in the range for it to turn and make landfall which increases our potentially dangerous weather.
Anyway, we’re all keeping an eye on Isaac around here and continuing to watch the updates and projected path. You can keep track at the National Hurricane Center website as well. Updates are posted several times a day.
I hope it doesn’t get too bad for you!
Us Brits like to complain abuot the weather, but at least we don’t get hurricanes and the like!
