Headed up to Mom’s yesterday to help sort, organize and price all the various items for the garage sale next weekend. Several people donated a ton of items in a large range of categories, so there was a lot to go through. It started to rain almost immediately after we began so we were working in tight quarters in her garage. This is also July in Florida and when it rains here, it doesn’t get cooler, it gets more miserable. The humidity was off the charts and we worked for about 4 hours straight in 100F (38C) temps.
It was too much.
By the time I got home, I had a migraine well underway and wound up taking an Imitrex and putting a cool pack on my neck. Took a few hours for the migraine to start to subside.
I didn’t sleep well last night and kept waking up throughout the early morning hours hot and sweaty. (Odd to have night sweats since I’m on the hormone replacement which has really helped my hot flashes. I’ve only once had night sweats and that was before I started the hormones.)
Ugh. Just sucks to be so strongly reminded how weak the medication is making me right now.
The good news is that we got the bulk of the items organized and priced for the sale next weekend. We’re having it the 30th and 31st. All the money is going towards my medical bills and upcoming surgery costs so it’s important we do good.
Good luck with the garage sale! 🙂
