There are people on the net that have nothing better to do
with their time
then be nasty to other people online. They post rude comments, spend hours
a day talking about sites they hate so much, that they well, spend hours a
day talking about them. (lame) They mock the owners and posters for their
opinions and their right to free speech. They expect everyone to fit into
their narrow-minded little world view or else they throw a temper tantrum.
To these people I say grow up.
Here's a bit of info people...the web is
a HUGE place. If you don't like what I say here, or who I am, or what I
do, or talk about, or what I look like, or the color of my hair, or
whatever asinine thing you dwell on, go somewhere else. It's
really, really easy. Honest. You just click the little "x" in
the corner of your browser and *poof* the offending, big, mean and nasty
site has disappeared.
I pay for this site. It's mine. That
means I can use it for whatever the hell I want to. Don't like it if I'm
bitching about something in my life? Oh fucking well. Go somewhere else.
Think I'm stupid for expressing my thoughts? Too fucking bad, don't read
them. Somewhere along the line, someone forgot this simple fact: Live
and let live Don't like me, cool, fine, whatever, I don't care.
This journal is NOT for you. It's for me. I'm not in it for popularity or
fame or anything stupid like that. I write it because I need to write and
express myself and get things out of my head sometimes. So read or don't,
it doesn't matter, but don't waste my time (or yours) bitching about it.

M Recommends - MigraGard Feverfew I've been meaning to post this for weeks now and I keep forgetting. I have to pass along the best find for migraines in a long time: Feverfew.
Feverfew is a natural herb that was used for centuries for digestive problems, headaches, arthritis and more. Recently, it's made a large re-entry into public awareness because of it's helpfulness in preventing migraine attacks and lessening the intensity of attacks when they do occur.
I first got some several months ago from GNC. Each night, I tried to choke them down. Some nights, I couldn't even do it. The gel coating on them was so horrible, it stuck and lodged in your throat and esophagus where it would start to disolve and leave the worst heartburn and taste in the back of your throat. It was painful. One night, I got stuck so hard, I couldn't breathe. After that, we chucked the bottle and went looking for another form.
Love found MigraGard at a local health foods store. (You can also find them online if you don't have a store near you. Amazon sells them as do a few other sites.) These things are amazing. Absolutely no issues with swallowing them; they are just like a tylenol gelcap in size and texture. The amazing part is that they work. And work damned well.
It takes a few weeks for it to really start helping. You've got to keep taking it every day (I take mine after dinner) and give it time to start helping. But it will. My migraines started coming less frequently. And when they did come, they were less intense and didn't last as long. It's now been over a month since I've had one. A month! Anyone who gets migraines will appreciate how long that is. And, not to be too personal, but I didn't even get one during my last cycle - a time notorious for women in general and myself personally. I went from having upwards of four and five days solid of migraines in the cycle to none last month. None.
I can't recommend them enough. This brand specifically is a lifesaver. I know rescue meds are important. And I wish I could afford to have some. But it's even more important to prevent them as much as possible before they start. This is where the MigraGard comes in. It won't help once you get an attack, but it should help keep you from getting so many attacks to start with. It's around $10-15 for a 30-day supply and it's the best money I've spent in a long time.
