I had a lovely surprise in the mail – a package from a bookseller. I didn’t order any books so I wasn’t sure what it was. Opened it up to find a signed, limited edition of Woods and Waters Wild from my amazon wishlist!
(And yes, that is his signature! )
Charles de Lint is my all-time favorite author. This was a limited release through a small publisher (Subterranean Press) of some of his early works. It’s very neat in general and always cool to get something a little rare and special like this. Plus, it’s autographed! How cool is that?
I am assuming it’s a birthday present (getting close now – 8 days, 3 hours, 58 minutes until May 16th!) but unfortunately, I don’t know who to thank. There was no buyer name, only the email address of the bookseller. So thank you! to, well, someone! I’m so excited to go through it!

Wow, what a wonderful surprise present! Let us know if you find out who it’s from 🙂
There’s been a few books I’ve fancied from Subterranean Press, but the postage to the UK is too much for me to consider ordering (that and the import tax on anything over about £20).
