Shopping is done. Presents are wrapped. All the bills are paid and there’s even a little left in the bank. Life’s not too bad, especially given how insurmountable it all looked a few short months ago.
We’ll start the turkey brine as soon as I post this. Tomorrow morning, we cook the 20lb bird, have our personal Christmas, then head to Mom’s. After that, it’s back home to grab the turkey and head to Love’s parents for our second family gathering.
We’ll be exhausted and spent but it will be a nice day because we have a lot to be thankful for. I’m healthy and Love’s Dad (who had emergency gallbladder and open-heart surgery this summer) is also healthy. We’ve all made it through to another Christmas.
I hope you and yours have a beautiful holiday season with love and joy. And I wish prosperity and happiness to each and every one of you for the coming year.
Merry Christmas! I hope you’re having a wonderful day! 🙂
Thanks and Merry Christmas to you too! Hope you and your family had a lovely day. Ours was busy and exhausting but lovely. 😀
