Sunday, Love and I went up to Mom’s house to have a family lunch as a combination Mother’s Day/My birthday. My sister, her husband, my Nanny and my Aunt were all there too. Since my birthday is on a Thursday (the 16th) and we were all getting together the Sunday before my birthday for Mother’s [...]
Today we celebrate my tabby cat Mika’s adoption day as her birthday. Mika was adopted ten years ago and is now approximately 13 years old. Happy Birthday to my tabby girl and wishes for many more!
With the busyness of the holidays, followed by my Mom’s fall the day after Christmas (and subsequent days in the hospital and fractured arm…) I only just got to check the post office box for the first time since mid-December. And I had some cards (sadly, including one which came back undeliverable) and some packages! [...]
The month of December went by in a complete rush this year because of being so busy in my shop. I had a record 103!! orders for the month of December alone! (And many of those had more than one item in the order!!) It meant though, that I didn’t have as much time as [...]
Just sharing a few pics of the finally finished product! This time, including the Disney Monorail encircling the tree. Click any photo for larger! I always love taking photos of my tree each year. It’s just so beautiful, and colorful I am so drawn to capture it over and over again!
Saturday, December 15th, we went out to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see the ever-amazing Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights! Click any image for larger version! It’s [...]

First off, Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans! Hope you’ve had a nice day, hopefully with good food and friends/family. My day was one of those good and bad sorta things. Good Thing Love got up early this morning and did the 5k Turkey Trot. It’s a huge race they do in Clearwater (like 15,000 [...]
Saturday we went out to Downtown Disney for the 37th Annual Festival of the Masters art show. It’s a great free show they do for one weekend in November each year. Last year we didn’t make it after breaking down on the side of I-4 but no such problem this year. Here’s a few random [...]
Yesterday, I carved a foam (fake) pumpkin. It was the first I’d made since Rand died and we accidentally lost the dozen or so pumpkins that we had saved over the years. And unlike the one I made for Mom, this one, I used one of the fancy patterns. Tonight, I think I’m going to [...]
