Thursday, I went up to Mom’s house and carved a pumpkin for her. She has rheumatoid arthritis in her hands so she can’t do the carving anymore. It’s been awhile since I’ve carved a real one – I used to carve the foam ones with Love and Rand in the past a lot so we could save them and reuse them – so it was fun to go back to a more messy, classic version.
It was fun and messy work. I think it came out cute.
It turned out great! It is lovely for you to do that for your Mom. I’m happy to see you carving pumpkins again – I know how difficult that must be for you with all the wonderful memories you have of doing this with Rand. You have a real talent for it and I’m glad to see you back at it again! Best wishes and I hope you have a happy and safe Halloween!
Aw, thanks! 🙂
It looks great! I’ve never carved one myself… Tempted though!
Thanks! It’s totally messy but a LOT of fun. 🙂
